With the onset of spring, many housekeepers around the world will be embarking upon the task of their spring cleaning. There are a wide array of tools and cleaners that will be utilized in the process. Whether you have the right cleaning solution for the right task will be key to the success at accomplishing the various tasks in the shortest amount of time.
To aid the process, don’t just start cleaning anywhere, but have a plan or strategy of the things you want to complete to allow for everything to be done. The plan could specify beginning at the rear, cleaning the bedrooms, and progressing to the front, where the living room/and or family room might be. Finish up cleaning the kitchen and baths.
Often times we could have a teenage helper who would benefit from having a checklist they could use. As part of the cleaning project, this is an opportune time to remove old batteries from smoke detectors or alarms and replace them with nickel free batteries. By doing this, on a regular schedule with the spring cleaning, you will be certain your safety precautions will be ready if needed.
When cleaning around the house, a person should be dressed in clothing that is rugged for the job, instead of wearing your robe and slippers. You should always wear something substantial on your feet in the event a heavy object falls on your foot. The protection of a brown boot or other solid covering would be well appreciated by keeping you from experiencing great pain.
If you have the right equipment to use, spring cleaning will not take a long time. Managing your time and individual projects from the start will ensure a complete cleaning of all areas of the home, including washing windows and walls.
